About C.C. Lacasse
C.C. Lacasse is a passionate new voice in children’s literature, bringing imagination and creativity to every page. With a background in 10 years of early childhood education and beginning elementary education and a love for storytelling, she crafts books that spark curiosity, laughter, and wonder in young readers. Her debut, If Kids Were in Charge, invites children ages 3–8 to dream big, explore possibilities, and see the world through playful “what if” moments.
When she’s not writing, C.C. enjoys art, reading and finding inspiration in the everyday magic of childhood. She’s excited to share her stories with families, schools, and libraries, and to inspire the next generation of dreamers and creators.
